Disney Marvel Merger
On September 1, 2009 Disney released information that they will be buying the comic entertainment giant Marvel Comics.
It’s widely known that for several years Disney has focused their appeal to young and teenage girls. Although many of their films have appealed to the male demographic, they have not marketed the films follow-up apparel and accessories to that same piece of the pie. However, Marvel’s release of the Iron Man and Spider Man movies has claimed that market with firm hand. The combination of the two will now give Disney the attention it needs from the younger/teenage male audiences.
What will happen to Universal Studios Islands of Adventure parks in Florida? Super Hero Island was highly trafficked and looked to be expanding during our visit in 2008. Will this be relocated to Disney World???
I personally would not mind an appearance of the Hulk during Wizard’s of Waverly Place. But I may be a little hesitant when Thor assists Mickey Mouse in defeating the evil villains of Fantastmic. Lookout Cinderella, Jean Grey is moving into the castle.
